This painting is part of a 15 portraits set, done while studying the MFA Public Art and New Artistic Strategies at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany. The series is based on influential personalities that lived in Weimar during different times in history. Mould textures are reminiscent of time passing; traces of memories are seen in images that are either abstract or figurative. In Colombia, walls with mould textures reminding religious faces, become sometimes instant sanctuaries for the common people.
